Welcome to FBC Investment
FBC Investment develops, operates and invests in international K-12 schools that combine Finland's world-renowned approach to learning with IGCSE, IB and American Diploma qualifications, across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the USA.

Who we are

FBC Investment, the Finnish British Consortium for Investment, specialises in establishing world-class K-12 schools. We take each school from feasibility study and design through licensing, construction and recruitment to opening day, then run it to international standards.
FBC Investment is part of a group of companies, including our sister companies, that has worked in the education sector across Finland, the UK, Egypt and the Middle East for more than 20 years.
FBC Investment partners with Finland's leading awarding bodies, schools and education providers through a consortium of more than 50 of the country's top Finnish education organisations.
Our schools partner with leading awarding bodies to offer top-tier IGCSE, IB and American Diploma pathways, and they are built around the Finnish approach to education: highly qualified teachers, learning through play and real-world projects, and a strong focus on every child's wellbeing.
For investors, this creates a rare combination: a K-12 education investment with resilient, long-term demand, and schools that parents actively seek out for the quality of learning they offer.

Experience of the team behind the group
The Finnish education model
Finland's education system is studied by policymakers worldwide. We bring its core principles into every FBC school, alongside internationally recognised qualifications.
In Finland, teachers hold a master's degree and are trusted as professionals. We recruit and train our teachers to the same standard, with specialist training in Finnish pedagogy.
Young children learn through play, and older students explore real-world topics across subjects. The result is deeper understanding, creativity and critical thinking.
Regular breaks, outdoor learning and calm, well-designed classrooms keep students healthy, motivated and ready to learn.
Where we invest
Rapidly growing school-age populations and rising demand for international curricula make these regions some of the most compelling K-12 markets in the world.

Questions
K-12 education investment means investing in schools that teach students from kindergarten to grade 12, around ages 4 to 18. Investors fund the development or acquisition of a school and earn returns from tuition fees over many years, while the school is run by an experienced operator such as FBC Investment.
Finland's education system is internationally respected for its highly qualified teachers, student wellbeing and learning through play and real-world projects. Combined with recognised qualifications such as IGCSE, IB or the American Diploma, it gives an international school a clear point of difference that parents value.
We focus on high-growth K-12 markets in the Middle East and Africa, starting with six international schools in Egypt, alongside partner projects in Cyprus and the USA.
Our schools offer internationally recognised qualifications, including IGCSE, IB and the American Diploma, delivered through Finnish teaching methods and learning environments. That combination is what we call the Finnish British model.
